Meet the Nokia Venture Studio Team: Olli Mannerkoski

We’re excited to introduce Nokia Venture Studio’s founding members, Jose de Francisco, Olli Mannerkoski and Tuomo Kekoni, as well as other valuable members of our team. Backed by design experience and equipped with eagerness to provide advanced solutions, the Nokia Studios team takes an interdisciplinary approach to new ventures. We’re a tight-knit team of serial innovators, and we deliver exceptional work by championing Quality Experiences by Design.

Olli Mannerkoski

Head of Design Portfolio and Master of Arts (Art & Design), is a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience on digital products and services, and a proven leader managing creatives and interdisciplinary teams. He started his career advancing Human-Centered and User Interface design best practices in academia. Olli’s drive and entrepreneurship led him to pioneer digital UI design in Finland by founding one of the first specialized Studios in the country. Ever since, he has been working on all aspects of product and service design for consumers and professional users across industries such as telecom, finance and media as well as the public sector.

Olli is based in Helsinki and was a Design Director at Fjord, now part of Accenture Interactive. His successful track record led to greater responsibilities as the Nordics’s Managing Director. After his intensive time in design consulting he joined Comptel as the Head of Experience Design and, more recently, Nokia Software. His passion is to design and create sustainable competitive advantages through the kind of customer and user experiences that make a compelling difference.
